How is it going? Are you rich yet? Personally, I just finished drawing up some rough plans for the new bathroom upstairs and wanted to ask… is it finished yet, or did you give up and decide to build a library—or something easier—up there? Would you ask yourself about the dreams and aspirations you had at the moment you wrote the letter, or would you caution yourself against unnecessary expenditures?
I have now decided to pen that overdue letter to my future self. I hope this letter finds you well and I hope your life is going great and your child hopefully children are doing just awesome.
I do hope you are having way more fun times that we used to have back in the past. I am proud that you have worked out and have stuck to your fitness routine.
You are looking absolutely beautiful, having that toned yet curvy physique that we always spoke of. I know you have cut out a lot of that red- meat out of your diet and you are living a clean, green life that has contributed greatly to your physical and mental health.
You have found a love that respects you, cares for you, adore you and most of all love you unconditionally. You have been blessed with someone who has complimented your life and is loyal, compassionate, God-fearing, respectful and supportive of your dreams.
I mean, you do deserve this after all you spent a decade hopefully only that in a loveless relationship where you felt unwanted and used most of the time.
I truly hope you have found someone who cherishes every cell that makes up your being and is worthy of your heart. You have been through a whole lot these past years but I hope you are at peace with yourself and have learnt to love yourself for just who you are.
You and you love now have a beautiful and happy family and are living your best life yet!! You have found your niche and that business that we wanted to start as a side hustle many years ago is by now thriving.
I know the love you have for those kids who happen to be from a myriad of backgrounds still appreciate what you do and you appreciate them just as much. I know this is adding greatly to your comfort and peace of mind. I hope you have let go of the stagnant people in your life who have no other purpose but to tear you down and belittle your every move.
Thank you for finding confidence and never giving up despite the struggles you faced. I see how you have changed over these past five years. I am so proud of the growth that you have made in these five short years. You have improved so much.
Your confidence is beautiful and catching. It reflects so brightly in that stunning smile of yours. Looking on, your life is absolutely beautiful. I am absolutely proud of you. You have accomplished so much in your life in such a short time. You have found happiness, you have found love, you have accomplished goals that seem unattainable to your year-old self.
I mean, who would have thought a girl like you, who grew up without a mother would be such a great mom to her kids and others today?
Who would have thought that a girl who grew up on many a dinnerless night and many days at school without lunch would be able to provide for others in the same situation today? Who would have thought a young lady who made so many mistakes in her twenties would have found true love and have a better relationship with God and her family?
Sami, I am so proud of your determination and perseverance that has brought you throughout so that today, you have achieved all you have set out to achieve. As you prepare for the next chapter of your life, I wish you all the best and I do hope that you will be given the opportunity to continue to mould the minds and souls of others while growing as a human being.
I hope the happiness you have found will last and you will continue to shine as the Sun does, even as it is blocked by dark rain clouds. I am your biggest supporter or fan if you like and despite what the future holds I will always be by your side cheering you on.A Letter To My Future Self is cataloged in Beautiful Poem, contemporary poetry, Female Poets, Heart Catalog, Letter To Myself, Poem, poems porn, Quote Catalog Get our newsletter every Friday!
